The Personal Care Attendant for Adult Enrichment (AE) will be responsible for personal care, educational support, community integration and daily living skills instruction.


The Personal Care Attendant (PCA):

  •  Provides basic personal care, educational support and Adult Enrichment-related supports in a safe manner consistent with the guidelines of the individual’s support plan. 
  •  Promotes the individual’s independence. 
  •  Demonstrates commitment to customer service in order to fulfill the agency’s mission and values. 
  •  Complies with department-wide responsibilities to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.



Hours of the position are M-F, 9am-2pm (25 hours per week)




High school diploma or GED required.


Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with disabilities is required.


Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess required skills to perform personal care services as specified in the individual’s support plan. Must have basic math, reading and writing skills. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and must be able to interpret nonverbal communications based on the individual's needs.
